Your Consultation
During your personal consultation, we’ll do a thorough assessment of your pet’s current health and determine what their quality of life is at the current stage. When appropriate, we’ll give you guidance related to giving your pet any medications they need, encouraging positive eating habits, and any environmental changes that may be necessary for keeping your pet comfortable as they navigate the final weeks and days of their life. Sometimes, euthanasia is not needed right away, but your pet may still benefit from pet hospice in Georgetown.
Our experienced veterinary staff will go over your options and expectations so you can feel confident in any decisions you make. We always take the concerns of pet parents seriously and will never push you into anything you’re not ready for.
If we feel that your pet’s quality of life has diminished to the point where At-Home euthanasia is the best option, we will guide you through the process. When discussing these difficult topics, we’ll do our best to prepare you for the emotions that may come up during the pet euthanasia process. In addition to information on the euthanasia process, we can also provide you with options for aftercare services for your pet and your family members, including children and other pets. The grieving process is different for every family, and we’re here to support you. You’ll always have the time and space that you need to make the right call for your pet and your family.
